Valient Thorr - “Stranger”

Stranger is a step in a different direction for the bearded aliens from Venus.  Stranger is their most straight forward and brutal record yet.  Leaning more towards social commentary, the band leans away from classic metal acts and towards a more accessible sound for modern metal fans to date.  The album is a double gatefold that comes with a black/clear split record.  Below is a few videos the first is a short video how the vinyl release was made.

“Double Crossed” - a small and fun homage to Twisted Sister and Aerosmith videos.

“Sleeper Awakes” - this one is fun to see them being themselves

Valient Thorr - “Immortalizer”

“You Know What I’m Talking About?” Immortalizer could be my favorite from Valient Thorr (I don’t think I can even honestly say I have one favorite though).  The band’s Earth influences are shown here from bands like Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, and AC/DC. It could also be seen as their most experimental album.  The release is a double gatefold with 2 clear blue LPs.  They also released super music videos for some of the singles. They following are links and explanations for those songs.

“Tomorrow Police” - the low budget video that features the charisma of Valient Himself.

“No Holds Barred” - the tribute song to wrestling that includes old school wrestling footage.  I personally enjoyed this a lot.

Valient Thorr - “Legend Of The World”

Legend of the World is Valient Thorr’s first big step into world domination.  The band is as tight as ever and Valient Himself’s message on the War on Terrorism and the Bush Administration are as clear as ever.  Especially on “Exit Strategy”, check out the video below.  The song “Fall Of Pangea” earned them a well deserved spot on Guitar Hero 2.  Guitar Heroes is an understatement.  The album is packaged in a double gatefold with 2 clear LPs.   “Don’t Need No Coffee. Don’t Need No Coal. This Mother Fucker Burns on Rock ‘N Roll!”

Valient Thorr - “Total Universe Man”

Alahoy! The Rock ‘N Roll Champions of The Universe and Venutian (from Venus) band is here to make sure we don’t make the same mistakes on Earth and to set us on the path of the righteous. I had no idea what I was getting into when I first heard the hyper speed intro of “Man Behind The Curtain”.  The video for the song below sold me on this band.  Their live show is tremendous and this music video is the closest thing to proof. What I was getting into was one of the most exciting and entertaining bands in music today.
