Jack White continues to amaze me as I get older. I couldn’t stand The White Stripes at first and I didn’t understand The Dead Weather at first either. It took someone to sit down and point out it’s influences before I started catching on. This is their second album released quickly after their debut. I have to say they have added some very interesting aspects to this brand of rock ‘n roll. The album is a double gatefold 180 gram LP. Side A is inscribed with “The Hardest Decision You Will Ever Have To Make” while Side B says “Lies Underneath Your Fingers”. The label (the center art of the vinyl) actually plays some very weird and cryptic music that is hidden inside the art. BONUS! Proof that Jack and his crew at Third Man Records know vinyl.
