We Were Promised Jetpacks - “These Four Walls”
I haven’t heard so much passion and energy in an album in a long time. That’s why this was one of my favorite albums of 2009. I’ll make an uneducated statement and say that this is the best album to come from Scotland ever. The band creates an epic and emotional tone that draws you in and doesn’t let go until the album is over. And then you wanna play it again. I dare you start with “It’s Thunder And It’s Lightning” and not wanna keep listening. This is the Scottish response to Ireland’s U2. They won this battle.
