Van Halen - “1984”
What’s cooler than being cool, synthesizers! Some say this is a misstep, while others say this is their funnest. Either way it was their last with David Lee Roth. He ran wild all over this record. I purchased this at Pop’s Resale in Lexington and includes the original album sleeve. For some reason the back cover is up side down. 1984 is Van Halen showing their personality and indulging in their fame. If “Jump” or “Panama” is to light for you, the intro of “Hot For Teacher” will destroy your ears. You can’t help but smile even in their music videos. ”I got my pencil….Give me something to write on!”
