Vampire Weekend - “Vampire Weekend”
I didn’t think I would wind up loving this album as much as I did the first time I heard the debut single “A-Punk”. It wasn’t punk, screw that song and band. But I couldn’t get away from it, it was too catchy that was just the single. The album is a whole other beast. I love the reggae and world fused sounds are what sold me. The band’s use of percussion and organs kept me listening. Say what you want, but this is too fun not to listen.
